I am a computer scientist working in interdisciplinary projects. My interests are in data analysis, particularly in computation of the geometric and dynamic structure of data. Together with my colleagues, I am interested in studying behavioral and neuronal space in animals.
Before joining Max’s group, I worked with Herbert Edelsbrunner (http://pub.ist.ac.at/~edels/), Joshua Weitz (http://ecotheory.biology.gatech.edu/people/joshua-weitz), and Greg Turk (https://www.cc.gatech.edu/home/turk/) on the analysis of shape and development of roots of plants from 3D images. I received my PhD in Computer Graphics from the University of Trento in Italy.
